One year ago, genocidal Hamas terrorists slaughtered 1,200 civilians in Israel and took hundreds more hostage. In the year since, Democrats have continuously undermined Israel and treated it like the aggressor.
Israel has spent the year since the massacre of 1,200 civilians (a casualty number that included Americans) trying to eliminate Hamas once and for all. Hamas is a genocidal, antisemitic terrorist group that has promised to perpetrate more Oct. 7 massacres if it has the ability to do it, so Israel has spent this year ensuring that the group would no longer ever have that capability.
Israel has had to do so over the objections of leading Democrats. The country had to delay its offensive into Rafah, where Hamas terrorists holed up because it was a safe zone, because President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris threatened to cut American support. The Biden-Harris administration was willing to cut off arms to Israel but has continued to funnel aid to Gaza that everyone knows is stolen and winds up in the hands of Hamas. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has also publicly and privately tried to force Israel into a “ceasefire,” a tactic that he, Biden, and Harris refuse to use on Hamas.
Even now, remembering the anniversary of the attacks, Blinken is calling on Israel to surrender and stop fighting the terrorists that deny its right to even exist.
It is jarring to see how Biden and his team juxtapose threats against Israel (about changes in U.S. policy) with the coddling of Hamas and now Lebanon. Only Israel faces demands from Biden, Harris, and Blinken to reach a ceasefire, even though in the past year, Israel has agreed to multiple deals that it knows Hamas won’t follow, just for Hamas to reject those deals. No such threats are made to Hamas, which knows Biden and his team will continue to send it civilian aid to steal no matter how many terrorist attacks it launches and how many ceasefires it rejects.

At the best of times, Biden, Harris, and their team treat Israel as an equal to the terrorists they demand it negotiate with. Most of the time, they paint Israel as the problem, acting as if Israel can “end the war” only if it stops, with no demands made that the terrorists do anything but release the hostages they took a year ago. You will hear Biden and others say they believe Israel “has a right to defend itself,” but they only believe that insofar as Israel is shooting down missiles launched by terrorists. If Israel tries to stop those missiles from ever being launched, or those terrorists from being alive to launch them, then Israel is the bad guy.
In the meantime, Israel has spent the last year killing terrorists, which is a necessary task that Biden, Harris, and much of the Democratic Party are too squeamish to support. The onus for this war lies with Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran. By pretending otherwise, Democrats continue to undermine Israel.
