Democratic rhetoric is going to get a Republican killed

.

Democrats have continued, with seemingly no plans to stop, to paint Republicans in the most extreme terms, no matter how many times that rhetoric inspires lunatics to try and murder Republican politicians.

Former President Donald Trump has now been the target of two legitimate assassination attempts, with the most recent attempt only being foiled because a Secret Service agent went one hole ahead of Trump during his latest golf outing. President Joe Biden has repeatedly called Trump a “threat to democracy,” Vice President Kamala Harris has said Trump would “turn our democracy into a dictatorship,” and Democrats routinely compare Trump to Adolf Hitler.

This follows years upon years of Democrats claiming Republicans were going to kill people through healthcare policy, or kill women through abortion policy and “taking away their rights,” or that Republicans are racist wannabe authoritarians who will end democracy as we know it. This has led to multiple prominent, nearly successful attempted assassinations of GOP politicians, including the congressional baseball shooting (perpetrated by a campaign volunteer for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)), the attempted stabbing of former Republican New York City Rep. Lee Zeldin during his run for governor of the state, and the attempted assassination of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, before which Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) warned Kavanaugh he would “pay the price.”

Now, after two attempts on Trump’s life, Democrats still want to continue to paint Republicans as extremist authoritarians akin to Hitler. In fact, when asked by Fox News’s Peter Doocy about using “threat” to describe Trump, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Doocy’s question was “dangerous.”

That’s right. According to the White House, even Doocy is a threat to democracy.

The Democratic rhetoric is always dialed up to 11. According to Democrats, every Republican is a “threat” who harbors racial hatred and wants to become the next Hitler, including inoffensive Republicans such as Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R-VA). Is it any surprise, then, that this constant barrage of insidious accusations pushes left-wing lunatics to take up weapons and deal with the “threats” themselves?

For a party that screams and wails about how Trump’s rhetoric is dangerous and will cause people to become violent, the Democratic Party has a track record that manages to be far worse. Democrats still have no intention of choosing normal political rhetoric after multiple attempted assassinations of prominent Republicans, and they will continue to escalate their rhetoric in the coming months and be surprised when crazy people who listen to them choose to act on it.
