Hershey’s controversial new marketing campaign in Canada to celebrate International Women’s Day is an utter disgrace and embarrassment to women. The confectionery company released five limited-edition chocolate bars called “HER for SHE.” Yet, Hershey’s knowingly celebrated a man in its ode to honor women. One of the bars included Fae Johnstone, a man who is an executive at a Canadian consulting firm and who thinks he is a woman.

The “SHE” bar was rebranded at the beginning of the month and was meant to “shine a light on the women and girls who inspire us every day.” The company could do that, but then it would have to feature actual women instead of men. Otherwise, a more appropriate slogan would be “HE for SHE.”

March 8 is “International Women’s Day,” not “International Delusional Men Who Think They Are Women Day.” With this propagandized public relations stunt, Hershey’s puts the man in “woman.” It’s the latest example of affluent corporations trying to manipulate the culture to adhere to a company’s executives’ weird, radical political beliefs.

Hershey’s released a statement defending its decision to feature a man for International Women’s Day in response to the backlash and very legitimate anger.

“We value togetherness and recognize the strength created by diversity,” the statement read. “Over the past three years, our Women’s History Month programming has been an inclusive celebration of women and their impact. We appreciate the countless people and meaningful partnerships behind these efforts.”

Hershey’s hijacked a holiday meant to celebrate women to advance its toxic, deranged left-wing ideology. It is not celebrating diversity, but attempting to change the world’s accepted norms and culture to reshape society to adhere to fringe left-wing values.

Women deserve better than to be shunted aside in favor of men who put on dresses and effeminate affectations. Being a woman is a natural phenomenon that is determined at conception. It’s the result of biology, not imagination or will. Men cannot become women, never have been women, and never will be women. And now all Hershey’s has done is expose itself as another company that cannot be trusted or supported — especially not by actual women.
