DEI person, DEI thyself! Useless ‘equity’ administrators are disproportionately white

With corporate diversity, equity, and inclusion programs and departments getting the axe during layoffs, even black liberals are discovering that DEI was always a scam.
NBCBLK, one of the new race-obsessed subdivisions of NBC News, warns that “the wave of change in workplaces through diversity, equity and inclusion roles has quelled, and black workers will feel the brunt of the officers’ absence.” DEI roles at businesses increased by 55% after the death of George Floyd, with businesses pandering to Black Lives Matter activists by bringing their own form of racism into offices.
GET WOKE, GO BROKE — COMPANIES ARE LAYING OFF USELESS DEI WORKERS
But with companies facing layoffs, DEI departments are first on the chopping block. The attrition rate for non-DEI jobs in 2022 was 21%, whereas it was 33% for DEI roles. In companies that made layoffs, DEI roles “experienced a nearly 40% churn rate,” while non-DEI roles sat at just 24%. DEI jobs were never necessary nor high priority and so, when the going got tough, management decided that they were the easiest to cut.
That is not where it ends, though. According to NBC’s Curtis Bunn, one survey found that “black employees represent only 3.8% of chief diversity officers overall, with white people making up 76.1% of the roles. Those of Hispanic or Latino ethnicity make up 7.8% and those of Asian ethnicity make up 7.7%.”
So not only did businesses pretend to care about DEI departments because Black Lives Matter activists told them to, only to cut the programs later to save money, but they also gave the top DEI jobs disproportionately to white people and underrepresented black employees. DEI administrator, DEI thyself.

DEI programs, just like Black Lives Matter itself, are scams. They were scams when white authors such as Robin DiAngelo were being paid 70% more money than black authors for taking part in the same DEI events. They are scams when they are adopted by businesses trying to pander to or mollify black activists. They are nothing more than useless bureaucratic positions that help useless people get paid, whether in university or business departments or at ludicrously expensive conference speaking gigs.
“Anti-racism” is an industry, not a movement. Its goal is to make sure racism is always with us so that its practitioners can keep justifying their existence and paychecks in departments and at conferences, even when those practitioners are predominantly white liberals, as NBCBLK has apparently only now discovered. DEI programs are nothing more than bureaucratic placement programs for unproductive (mostly white) people who want to lecture everyone about race. Ideally, 100% of DEI roles would be in the next round of layoffs.
