Transgender ideology is putting male rapists into women’s prisons, with predictable results

In the name of gender affirmation, prisons are putting men in women’s facilities and enabling rapists in the process. A slew of recent cases has either seen male rapists placed in women’s prisons or men convicted of other crimes placed into women’s prisons, who went on to rape thereafter, claiming they identified as women.
Hamilton County, Ohio, has been investigating the alleged rape of a female inmate by Michael Cole (or now Michelle Cole), who is a man. Cole has a violent felony history dating back to 2012 and was sharing a prison cell with a woman.

In Canada, Tara Desousa is held in a “mother-and-baby unit” in prison. When Desousa was known as Adam Laboucan, the then-15-year-old boy sexually assaulted a three-month-old so brutally that the child required reconstructive surgery. Then, he was known as Canada’s “youngest dangerous offender.” Now, he is described as being a “two-spirit person.”
In Scotland, Isla Bryson was held in a women’s prison while awaiting trial for raping two women in 2016 and 2019. Bryson was known as Adam Graham at the time because Bryson is a man. But Bryson has been sentenced to a women’s prison because Bryson decided to claim that he was a woman after rape charges had been brought against him.
In April 2022, Diamond Blount, a man formerly known as Ramel Blount, was sentenced to seven years in prison for raping a female inmate in the women’s section of Rikers Island in New York. In November 2021, the Times reported that 12 men were moved into women’s jails in Scotland over an 18-month span, with only one actually undergoing gender reassignment surgery. The other 11 simply “identified” as women, and that was good enough to be moved.

This is the direct result of the tortured logic of transgender activists, who claim that biological reality must be ignored based on feelings and self-identifications. This even applies to serial rapists and child rapists, who are placed among a population of women who, regardless of their crimes, are supposed to be under the protection and supervision of the state, not placed with male predators. The results are predictable, but that doesn’t make them any less morally abhorrent.
Men are not women. Men do not belong in women’s spaces, especially if that space is a confined one, such as a prison. Men who are convicted rapists belong nowhere near any women, even if they claim to think they are women or “two-spirited” or some other made-up gender that some people pretend is real. The insanity of transgenderism is having real consequences when it is adopted by the government, and the harm will continue unless people reject this nonsense.
