GOP Rep. Dan Newhouse (WA) defeated Democratic challenger Doug White in Washington’s 4th Congressional District on Tuesday, winning a fifth term in Congress.
Newhouse was one of 10 Republicans who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump for inciting a riot at the Capitol on Jan. 6. The Washington Republican survived a primary against a Trump-endorsed challenger in August.
Nonpartisan handicapper Cook Political Report rates the district R+11, with the GOP having held the seat since 1995.
