Republicans have made several changes to their party platform after electing not to make any alterations in 2020.
Former President Donald Trump had a heavy hand in crafting the new platform, which softens the GOP’s position on calling for a national abortion ban and removes the language about “traditional marriage” being between “one man and one woman.”
