Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is urging Congress to “investigate the Bidens nonstop” following revelations that classified documents were discovered at a Biden-aligned think tank.

Greene suggested that the documents may have been “stolen,” while emphasizing that Biden lacked the authority to declassify the documents at the time, which originated from his days as vice president. She also iterated her previous demands that Congress consider impeaching Biden.

‘LOCK HIM UP’: REPUBLICANS ERUPT AT BIDEN OVER CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS

“I think we need to investigate the Bidens nonstop. I’ve been very vocal [on] impeaching Joe Biden and hopefully, we can get that done this Congress,” she told reporters after news broke of the classified document discovery.

In November, Biden’s lawyers identified roughly 10 documents with classified markings at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington, D.C., believed to have derived from his time as vice president and appraised the proper government authorities. The documents came from the vice presidential office at the center, according to CBS.

Greene, who previously defended former President Donald Trump after his Mar-a-Lago resort was raided on Aug. 8 for classified documents that he neglected to turn over, is saying that Biden’s case was different because, unlike Trump, he could not declassify the material.

“Joe Biden conceivably stole those documents. What people need to understand [is] the president is the only one that can declassify documents and not the vice president,” she told Fox News’s Tucker Carlson.

Trump is facing a Justice Department investigation into the classified document tranche at Mar-a-Lago led by special counsel Jack Smith. Defenders of Biden have noted that the president’s team flagged the material in question, whereas the government had to request the documents from Trump.

House Republicans are poised to investigate the president’s son Hunter with their newfound powers in the lower chamber. Biden’s team has been adamant that they are cooperating with investigators. U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois John Lausch has been tasked with investigating how the classified documents ended up at the Biden-aligned think tank, CBS reported.
