Baroni reportedly contacted police, telling them he got into a drunken argument with his girlfriend. He claims he told her to take a shower, and when she wouldn’t, he forced her to do so, which led to her hitting her head, per TMZ. Authorities speaking with Baroni noticed his hands were red, and they took pictures.

The former UFC fighter said he eventually helped her out of the tub and wrapped her in a blanket in bed, before heading out to pick up cigarettes and beer. He says when he got back, he assumed she was sleeping.
