Candace Cameron Bure celebrates Great American Family as fastest-growing cable network

Candace Cameron Bure celebrated GAC Media’s success, thanking fans for helping the Great American Family channel become the “fastest-growing network in all of cable television.”
Bure shared a GAC Media press release on her Instagram stories that touted her new channel’s strong 2022 finish.
“Thank you for finding us and watching Great American Family Channel,” Bure wrote.

Great American Family announced that it closed out last year ranked No. 1 in total day ratings growth in households (+113%) and No. 1 in prime-time ratings growth among all cable networks (+128%), according to Nielsen.
“Fourth Quarter 2022 viewership growth was driven by the network’s Great American Christmas franchise, which featured 18 original Christmas movies and fan-favorite stars including Candace Cameron Bure, Danica McKellar, Gladys Knight, Jen Lilley, and more,” the network shared.
The Full House and former Hallmark Christmas movie star announced she was joining GAC Media in April to produce and star in programs, saying she was “excited to develop heartwarming family and faith-filled programming.”
“I am constantly looking for ways that I can inspire people to live life with purpose,” Bure said at the time. “GAC fits my brand perfectly; we share a vision of creating compelling wholesome content for an audience who wants to watch programming for and with the whole family. Great, quality entertainment with a positive message is what my partnership with GAC is all about!”
Bure faced criticism for her Christian faith and stance on marriage, being blasted for saying she expects that “Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core.”

On New Year’s Day, the actress shared that her focus for 2023 is to live with confidence and joy.
“I will have confidence in the Lord (not just in myself) and joy through every trial, hardship and circumstance because He has paved and lit my path,” Bure posted on Instagram. “He calls us to endure. Which brings us proven character and hope, which does not disappoint.”
