Her dress is by Alex Perry, according to reports, who is an Australian fashion designer. The dress appears to be Perry’s Beckett cape-effect satin-crepe midi dress in the color mint. The piece currently boasts a price tag of $2,600.

DeSantis’s office did not respond to the Washington Examiner’s request for comment.

Another replied to Casey’s tweeted photograph with a picture of Onassis wearing the same mint color. “Is it just me or do you look like Jackie Kennedy?” he said.

In his remarks, DeSantis promised to keep children and their families at the top of his priorities going into his second term.

“We must ensure school systems are responsive to parents and to students, not partisan interest groups, and we must ensure that our institutions of higher learning are focused on academic excellence and the pursuit of truth, not the imposition of trendy ideology,” he said.
