Idaho taxpayers are set to receive a payment of up to $600 in the first quarter of 2023.
The Gem State is giving the rebate to anyone who was a state resident for the full year of 2020 and 2021 and has filed their taxes for the same tax years.

The state has been disbursing the rebates since September and intends to give all of the payments by March 2023, according to the state’s tax commission.
The state defines a full-year resident as someone who has either kept a home in Idaho for an entire year and spent more than 270 days of the year there or someone who has domiciled in the state for the entire tax year, according to the state’s tax commission.
Idaho residents who will receive this rebate and who provided banking information when filing their 2021 tax returns will receive this payment through direct deposit. Anyone else who will receive this rebate will get it through a check in the mail.
