Three feared dead, 13 being treated after helicopters collide near Sea World in Australia

Three people are believed to be dead and 13 others are being treated after two helicopters crashed near Sea World on the Gold Coast in Australia Sunday.

The Queensland Ambulance Service said 13 people were being treated at the scene, but authorities have not yet confirmed any fatalities. The crash between the two helicopters happened at about 2 p.m. Monday local time.

7NEWS Australia reports that witnesses saw the two helicopters collide, with one of them landing on the sandbank after the collision. Police and emergency vehicles could be seen speeding down the roads to get to the crash site.
