Would-be robber slips on ice and hits head while trying to flee scene

A would-be robber in Georgia is going viral after he slipped on ice and hit his head while he was attempting to run away from the scene of his failed crime in a moment reminiscent of Home Alone.
Luis Sajbocho-Ordonez was arrested Sunday after his attempt to rob a local business in Gainesville, Georgia, according to a release by the Gainesville Police Department.

The incident occurred around 1 a.m., the release read.
Responding officers found Sajbocho-Ordonez “lying injured on the icy ground” after he “allegedly hid being the business, pulled a gun on an employee as they exited and demanded cash,” according to the release. “A physical altercation ensued between the employee and [Sajbocho-Ordonez ], Another employee exited the rear of the building, spooking [Sajbocho-Ordonez ], causing him to fire a shot and run off.”
As he attempted to flee, Sajbocho-Ordonez reportedly slipped on the ice and hit his head.
Witnesses to the incident took at least two guns from Sajbocho-Ordonez.
“Police arrived moments later and took [Sajbocho-Ordonez] into custody,” the release read.
Sajbocho-Ordonez was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for his injuries and was then transported to the Hall County Jail.
He was charged with aggravated assault and armed robbery, police reported.

It was “like a scene from Home Alone. Fortunately, no serious injuries occurred and the perp went to jail,” the Gainesville Police Department posted to Facebook.
