Conservative lawyer says Trump is ‘not a well man’

.

Conservative attorney George Conway called Donald Trump a sociopath in response to a social media post the former president made Saturday.

Conway appeared on CNN to discuss, among other things, Trump’s post in which he thanked mobster Sammy Gravano, also known as Sammy the Bull, for calling him “a legitimate guy.”

“Thank you to Sammy the Bull,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “I hope Judges (Arthur) Engoron & (Lewis) Kaplan see this. We need fairness, strength and honesty in our New York Courts. We don’t have it now!”

Engoron and Kaplan are presiding over two of Trump’s civil trials in New York — a fraud case against the Trump Organization and a defamation suit against the former president, respectively. CNN host Jim Acosta referred to the post as a veiled threat against the judges, which Conway said is proof that Trump “has no moral compass.”

“Imagine telling judges committed to uphold the rule of law that they should listen to a mobster,” Conway said. “He is a sociopath. One of the things I think that needs to happen this year is we need to start talking about Donald Trump’s mental state. He is not a well man.”

Conway was married to Kellyanne Conway, a former Trump campaign manager and senior counselor to the president, for more than two decades until they announced their divorce last year. He has been an outspoken critic of the former president for several years and helped found The Lincoln Project, a conservative anti-Trump super PAC.
