McDonald’s reported first-ever robotic location has become the center of online debate after footage of the location went viral on social media.

The location, just outside of Fort Worth, Texas, has an “order ahead lane” that delivers food by conveyor belt, according to a report.

“The technology in this restaurant not only allows us to serve our customers in new, innovative ways, it gives our restaurant team the ability to concentrate more on order speed and accuracy, which makes the experience more enjoyable for everyone,” said Keith Vanecek, the franchisee operating the location.

A recent TikTok showed the location in operation and gave a 29-second look into a machine pushing orders to hungry customers via the drive-thru.

“If they forget an item, who you supposed to tell, the robot?” one user responded. “It defeats the purpose of using the drive-thru if you have to go inside for it.”

“No thanks. I love the people that work there. I want to hear voices and see faces. I want to see smiles at both windows!!!!” someone else said.

While several users bashed the location, others came to its defense and supported the idea.

“Finally, my order will be quick and accurate,” one person said.

“Awesome. No more attitude at the counter,” another responded.
