Following her suspension from Twitter by Elon Musk, Kathy Griffin refused to go quietly.

The comedian repurposed her dead mother’s account in an attempt to get the last laugh on the new owner of the social media platform.

“Dear @elonmusk, and @TomFitton, oh please please bring a tortious interference claim against me. Send it to @BoutrousTed. He’ll accept service and everything. Thx!” Griffin tweeted.

Griffin also tweeted that people should support Democrats in the midterm elections, a response to a Monday tweet from Musk urging people to vote Republican.

“Plot twist. #VoteBlueTomorrow Power to the People,” she tweeted.

“To independent-minded voters: Shared power curbs the worst excesses of both parties, therefore I recommend voting for a Republican Congress, given that the Presidency is Democratic,” Musk tweeted.

Musk later clarified his tweet regarding his political preferences.

“To be clear, my historical party affiliation has been Independent, with an actual voting history of entirely Democrat until this year,” Musk tweeted.

Since his acquisition of Twitter, a number of celebrities have announced they would leave the platform. Among them is Whoopi Goldberg, who shut down her account Monday afternoon.
