Meghan McCain, a former host of The View, complained her former co-hosts have “slandered” her since she left the program.

McCain took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to renounce a comment host Ana Navarro made on Thursday’s show. The cast was discussing the various indictments against President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden when Navarro mentioned others who “peddle” on their last name.

FIVE TIMES THE HUNTER BIDEN INFLUENCE PEDDLING STORY CHANGED

“Look, did Hunter Biden influence peddle on his last name? Yes, he did,” Navarro said. “So did half of Washington. People sitting at this table did it.”

While the audience laughed, Navarro’s fellow co-hosts exchanged confused glances. Alyssa Farah Griffin and Sara Haines interrupted to ask Navarro who she was referring to when she mentioned “people sitting at this table.”

“I’m not talking about currently,” Navarro clarified. However, she did not mention McCain by name.

“I don’t understand why my former colleagues bring me up and slander me on an almost weekly basis. It has been years — move on, I have,” McCain wrote on X. “I have never been accused of a crime in my life and am a patriotic American — I would never and have never ‘influenced peddled’ in my life, let alone with foreign adversaries. Not all politicians’ children are the same — and I am no Hunter Biden.”

McCain said she did not “take it lightly” when the reference was made because she considers The View an ABC News program. The former host then threatened legal action.

“All accusations are absurd, defamatory and slanderous,” McCain wrote. “I will be consulting my lawyers regarding what was libeled against me on The View this morning.”
