Two female Argentina fans who celebrated the nation’s World Cup win by going topless inside a stadium in Qatar have fled the country and avoided prosecution.

The two fans confirmed through social media posts they made their way back to their homes from the Middle Eastern country, according to TMZ.

One of the women, who goes by the name “Milubarbiie,” said in a post “that she had made it back to Europe, a place she missed dearly while cheering on Argentina in the soccer tournament,” according to the outlet.

Qatar, a conservative Muslim nation, typically has more stringent dress codes, especially for women, but for the World Cup, many policies were relaxed for fans from more liberal countries.

“Attitudes towards dressing in Qatar are relaxed, but visitors (men as well as women) are expected to show respect for local culture by avoiding excessively revealing clothes in public. It is generally recommended for men and women to ensure their shoulders and knees are covered,” the country’s tourism agency says on its website.
