EXCLUSIVE — Vivek Ramaswamy is amplifying his calls for Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel to step down.

The former biotech entrepreneur is circulating a petition urging McDaniel to resign, according to the 2024 Republican presidential candidate‘s campaign, doubling as a way for him to build his email database.

BIDEN-XI MEETING HAS REPERCUSSIONS AT HOME AHEAD OF ELECTION: ‘THE US HAS ENOUGH ON ITS PLATE’

“I am sick and tired of this Republican establishment that has made us a party of losers,” Ramaswamy told the Washington Examiner. “Where is the accountability for years of losing? 2018, 2020, 2022, and now 2023.”

“On the debate stage, I called on Ronna Romney McDaniel to resign,” he said. “Now, I’m asking grassroots conservatives across the nation to join me so she can feel the power of the people. It’s time to stop the culture of surrender and losing. Resign, Ronna!”

Ramaswamy came in hot during last week’s third primary debate in Miami, criticizing McDaniel for her leadership after Republicans underperformed in the off-year elections, particularly those held in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

“Since Ronna McDaniel took over as chairwoman of the RNC in 2017, we have lost 2018, 2020, 2022, no red wave, that never came,” he said onstage. “We got trounced last night in 2023, and I think that we have to have accountability in our party.”

“For that matter, Ronna, if you wanna come onstage tonight, you wanna look the GOP voters in the eye and tell ’em you resign, I will turn over my — yield my time to you,” he added.

Ramaswamy also scrutinized NBC, the debate’s host network, contending Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk, and Joe Rogan would have drawn “10 times the viewership.”

While McDaniel has tried to remain neutral during the primary, she has responded to Ramaswamy’s attacks, with former President Donald Trump reportedly becoming “increasingly sour,” per CNBC.

“Listen, he’s at 4%. He needs a headline,” she told Fox News. “I’m going to say what I’ve been saying to Republicans all along. Our headlines should be about Joe Biden, the border, fentanyl, crime, terrible things that are happening in this country that the American people are looking to our party for solutions. But I also will stand by my record as RNC chair.”

Ramaswamy averages 4% support in Iowa two months before the opening caucuses, RealClearPolitics found.
