The coldest place on Earth to celebrate the holiday season will have plenty of snow and blue skies — and a temperature of minus 135 degrees Fahrenheit.

NASA Earth satellites discovered the coldest place on the planet is a high ridge on the East Antarctic plateau, closing in on minus 135.8 degrees Fahrenheit on a “clear winter night.”

“You won’t find anyone else there,” the space agency noted on Facebook.

The East Antarctic plateau’s high ridge has been the coldest spot on Earth since 2013, when NASA bestowed the honor on the area.

However, its temperature of minus 135 degrees Fahrenheit is lower than what it was in 2013. Almost 10 years ago, the temperature was at a low of minus 133.6 degrees Fahrenheit.

The lowest temperature recorded there, however, was minus 136 degrees Fahrenheit on Aug. 10, 2010.

The coldest permanently inhabited place on Earth is in northeastern Siberia, with temperatures dropping to minus 90 degrees Fahrenheit in the towns of Verkhoyansk in 1892 and Oimekon in 1933, the space agency reported.
