New York City Mayor Eric Adams has suddenly canceled a scheduled meeting about the city’s migrant crisis with President Joe Biden on Thursday, just hours after departing New York for Washington, D.C.
A spokesperson for the mayor’s office said the cancellation was not because of a threat to public safety, but did not state what the cause of the cancellation is.
