Dolphins-Bills game in Buffalo to be hit by up to two feet of snow this weekend

Buffalo is turning up the cold ahead of the clash between the Bills and the Miami Dolphins Saturday as a massive lake-effect-fueled storm looms over the game.
Three to seven inches of snow is forecasted to get dumped on Buffalo, New York, Saturday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service, with as much as two feet of snow projected to accumulate over the course of the weekend near Orchard Park, where the stadium is located.

Saturday’s game is set to commence at 8:15 p.m. EST and temperatures are projected to plunge to a frigid 28 degrees. Typically used to swimming in the Florida heat, the Dolphins practiced in an indoor arena this week with temperatures under 60 degrees in anticipation of the Bills game, per NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe.

Last month, a game between the Bills and the Cleveland Browns was relocated from Orchard Park to Detroit, Michigan, due to threats of massive snow, with estimates at the time projecting five feet.
Far below the snowfalls foretasted four weeks ago, authorities issued a lake effect snow warning starting at 7 p.m. local time Friday night until 1 p.m. Saturday. So far, there have not been indications that the NFL is planning to postpone the game.
