Maine shooting: Gov. Janet Mills announces 18 people killed in mass shooting

Gov. Janet Mills (D-ME) said on Thursday that 18 people were killed and 13 were injured in the mass shooting in Lewiston, Maine, on Wednesday.

Robert Card, 40, is the person of interest in a mass shooting that occurred at two locations in Lewiston: a bowling alley called Sparetime Recreation and Schemengees Bar and Grille Restaurant. Mills said during a press conference he is still at large.

“The full weight of my administration is behind law enforcement efforts to capture the person of interest, Robert Card, to hold whoever’s responsible for this atrocity accountable under the full force of state and federal law and to seek full justice for the victims and their families,” Mills said.
