After a ten-week run that earned surprising box office success, Sound of Freedom will soon be available for in-home viewing.
Sound of Freedom details the true story of how former Homeland Security agent Tim Ballard quit his DHS job and risked his life to journey into the jungles of Colombia in an effort to save children from sex slavery. It has now grossed more than $216 million in worldwide box office sales and more than $183 million domestically.

Angel Studios, the distributor of Sound of Freedom, told the Washington Examiner that the home entertainment release will be available for download via digital “Electronic Sell Through” on Nov. 3 and on Blu-ray and DVD on Nov. 14. Digital rental will also be available on Dec. 15.
Those who invested in the film, supporting its budget for prints and advertising marketing, will have exclusive access via the Angel Studios app beginning Oct. 13. A total of 6,678 people, who are called the Angel Guild, contributed toward the film’s launching.
“The Angel Guild selected and made Sound of Freedom so successful theatrically,” Jared Geesey, chief distribution officer at Angel Studios, told the Washington Examiner. “We are honored to give them exclusive early access to this film prior to its wider release through the world’s leading digital platforms and retailers.”
