Multiple big rigs were toppled in Texas on Tuesday as tornadoes swept the northern part of the state, and tornado warnings were issued across Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

More than one 18-wheeler flipped over Interstate 20 near Weatherford in Parker County, according to local officials, a semi-truck was overturned in Decatur, and an orange semi crashed in the Dallas suburb of Grapevine.

Damage from severe weather occurred at multiple locations around the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, including in Grapevine, where at least five people have been injured. The five people were taken to local hospitals, but no information on their conditions has been provided, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Video captured the tornado crossing State Highway 114 near a hospital in Grapevine shortly after 8:40 a.m., the National Weather Service said.

Damage has also been reported at a Sam’s Club, a Walmart, a car wash, a middle school, and other commercial buildings in Grapevine. Middle school officials reported a smell of gas and said the school had suffered damage to its roof and had a water leak. All students have been evacuated.

Other areas in the state, including Wise and Parker Counties, have reported damage to their buildings, with at least one home destroyed in Decatur, according to the Star-Telegram.

Fort Worth has not reported any damage to its city, but several residents saw a tornado, including at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, according to the outlet.

The small town of Wayne, Oklahoma, was also hit by a tornado on Tuesday, which destroyed multiple houses, strewn debris around the community, and caused slight damage to the local school district. Officials with the district said the most significant damage was to trees, but also included scattered debris on campus and damage to six windows.

“We are thankful there was no loss of life and what was damaged can be replaced,” Toby Ringwald, the superintendent of Wayne Public Schools, told KFOR. “We appreciate the thoughts and prayers of all of those who have reached out; your generosity and willingness to lend a hand has not gone unnoticed.”

Despite the minor damage, the district canceled classes for Tuesday to clean up the campus. No injuries or deaths have been reported in Wayne so far.

Severe weather warnings remain in effect for the Mid-South, with potentially dangerous conditions affecting Northeast Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and most of Mississippi for most of Tuesday and into Wednesday. A tornado watch remains in effect for Texas, Oklahoma, and southwest Arkansas until 5 p.m. CST, according to the National Weather Service.
