The Biden-Harris 2024 campaign launched a new ad aimed at Latino voters ahead of the second Republican National Committee debate.
The new video, “La Diferencia,” was released in Spanish and English, and is the third ad in the Democratic duo’s $25 million three-part campaign aimed at convincing Hispanics across the country to back the incumbent.

“Republicans talk a lot of game, but Joe Biden actually delivers for Latinos,” said Maca Casado, the Biden-Harris 2024 Hispanic media director, in a statement Friday. “That’s the difference and that’s the choice Latinos will face in November 2024: Between an agenda that is lowering costs and investing in Latino communities and their businesses, and MAGA Republicans whose platform only serves the wealthy and powerful.”
The Biden-Harris campaign pointed to record-low Latino unemployment and lower costs and greater availability for Latino families seeking health insurance as wins for the growing demographic.
“Some talk, others do. And in our community, we know the difference,” the narrator in the English video states. “Republicans say they’re for us, but we know they’re working for the rich and powerful. President Joe Biden’s different. He’s fighting for us. He’s working to make billionaires and corporations pay their share so our businesses, our families, our community have a chance to get ahead. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the difference.”
The 2024 presidential campaign is ramping up at a time when border security and illegal immigration are back in the national spotlight. A new wave of arrivals at the southern border has been building for months, and border communities such as Eagle Pass, Texas, report being logistically overwhelmed. The busing of immigrants to Democratic cities has also provoked political blowback and criticism of the White House.
More than 34 million Hispanics were eligible to vote in 2022, making the population the fastest-growing racial and ethnic group in the U.S. since 2020, according to the nonpartisan Pew Research Center.
