WATCH LIVE: Biden speaks about union contracts for West Coast ports

President Joe Biden is speaking about the finalized contracts from the International Longshore and Warehouse Union and the Pacific Maritime Association for ports on the West Coast.

Biden is expected to begin delivering his remarks at 2:15 p.m. Eastern time. He is set to talk about the contracts and “continued progress empowering workers and strengthening America’s ports and supply chains,” according to the White House.

The president’s remarks come as he is under increased testing for COVID-19 due to his wife, first lady Jill Biden, testing positive for the virus on Sunday. The White House has said the president will wear a mask while indoors and around people, per guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
