The briefing is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. and comes less than a day after first lady Jill Biden tested positive for COVID-19. President Joe Biden tested negative for the coronavirus shortly after the first lady’s positive test but will regularly test for COVID-19 this week, per the White House.

The president is scheduled to award the Medal of Honor to Capt. Larry Taylor, a helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War, at the White House later on Tuesday.
