Baltimore Ravens’ wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. received praise on social media after calling attention to director Alejandro Monteverde’s movie Sound of Freedom.

“Sound of Freedom,” the Super Bowl champion posted to X, the social media site formerly known as Twitter. “I don’t even know what to say.

“That’s heavy.”

Sound of Freedom follows the story of Tim Ballad, who is portrayed by Jim Caviezel, as he goes on a quest to save children from a sex trafficking network in Colombia.

It has earned more than $150 million on a roughly $14.5 million budget, and many have praised the movie for exposing the horrid world of child sex trafficking.

However, the film has been subjected to efforts to delegitimize it as extremist propaganda linked to QAnon.

Beckham Jr.’s post on X has received over 4.7 million views and countless comments lauding the NFL star’s highlighting of the project.

“The important thing is that you said the name of the film — which I guarantee is the first time some of your followers ever heard it,” one comment read.

“Agree. It kept me up for many nights,” another user commented.

“[Thank] you for being a voice for the children.”
