Emmy Awards postponed as Hollywood strike surpasses 100 days

The Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony has been postponed four months later than usual due to the ongoing strikes in Hollywood.

Last year, the Emmys took place as usual in September. The 2023 ceremony will now take place on Jan. 15, 2024.

The Writer’s Guild of America has hit 101 consecutive days on strike, and the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and Writers Guild of America is in its fourth week on strike.
