The Los Angeles Lakers forward was the executive producer of See It Loud: The History of Black Television, which is CNN’s latest effort in unscripted programming.

See It Loud explores the vast history of Black television through iconic performances across various genres including sitcoms, comedy, drama, unscripted, variety, and science fiction,” according to CNN.

However, it failed to compete with NewsNation’s We Are Not Alone: The Historic Hearing.

Brian Entin hosted the special, which “breaks down everything we know about the historic House Oversight Committee hearing on UAPs, including expert UFO analysis from a former Navy pilot, the head of the British government’s UFO project, and an investigative journalist,” according to a description of the program.

The UFO special trounced CNN’s performance in the 25-45 age group by 22%, and it garnered a 105% larger viewership when compared to prior months, according to the report.

The poor performance of See It Loud is the latest in CNN’s programming failures since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the report noted.
