Arizona Republican Senate candidate and Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb said it is Vice President Kamala Harris’s job to close the southern border.
“What’s irresponsible is not closing the border,” Lamb told Fox News in response to Harris’s accusation that GOP governors who are busing immigrants to Democrat-run cities across the country are treating immigrants “as pawns in a political game.”

“That’s her job. That’s the first irresponsible part,” Lamb said.
“The second irresponsible part is these governors from Arizona, Texas, yeah, they’re busing people. What are they supposed to be doing with them?”

That, however, is not the full picture, Lamb added, because for every bus red state governors send, the United States government sends 10 to 20 buses.
“It’s not just the governors, it’s the government as well,” he said.
Americans also need to consider the type of individual the Biden administration is letting through the southern border, according to Lamb.
“We’ve had 140 terrorists they’ve caught that have been on the terrorist watch list,” he said. “There’s 92,000 unaccompanied minors that have come in thus far.”

Immigrants from as far as China are using a weak southern border to enter the United States, Lamb said.
“This is a global thing. A lot of these folks do not have good intentions, and, for those that do, we have a legal process for them to come to this country. They don’t follow it.”
