Former President Donald Trump was hit with three additional charges in special counsel Jack Smith’s classified documents investigation.
Additional charges for alleged obstruction and willful retention of national defense information were added to the indictment Thursday evening by Smith, the special counsel appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland. Smith also charged Carlos De Oliveira, a property manager at Mar-a-Lago, related to the classified documents case.
