Bronny James cardiac arrest: LeBron James’s son suffers emergency during USC practice

Bronny James, LeBron James’s son, suffered a cardiac arrest while practicing at the University of Southern California on Monday.
Sources with knowledge of the incident told TMZ James was transported from the USC Galen Center, where the basketball team holds games and practices, to a hospital in the morning.

“Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital,” a James family spokesperson said. “He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information.”

The 18-year-old, who committed to the Trojans in May, is said to now be in stable condition and no longer in the ICU.
James played for Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles and is a highly-favorable NBA prospect, ranking 20th in the 2023 ESPN 100 rankings.
