Food stamps: Direct payments for SNAP benefits in three states to wrap up for the month today

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program will conclude issuing benefits in three states for the month of July today.
Residents of Arkansas, Arizona, and Minnesota in eligible low-income households who receive SNAP benefits should see their payments by July 13. While some states issue their SNAP payments throughout the month, these three states will wrap up their payment schedule earlier.

Here is the SNAP schedule for the month of July in three states that will finish sending out their direct payments today.
Arkansas: July 4-13 Arizona: July 1-13 Minnesota: July 4-13
The amount beneficiaries will receive from SNAP depends on household size, income requirements, and other eligibility criteria. SNAP benefit recipients will be able to use their benefits through a prepaid electronic benefit transfer card, which can be used at grocery stores like a debit card to purchase eligible food products.
The average SNAP amount for each household member per month will vary, as outlined by the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.
Arkansas: $271 Arizona: $183 Minnesota: $157
The benefit amount individuals will receive from SNAP depends on household size, income requirements, and other eligibility criteria.

The SNAP program’s fiscal year runs from Oct. 1 to Sept. 30 and is typically adjusted each year, with recipients’ household income usually at or below 130% of the poverty line, which is the gross income limit.
