Gas station Buc-ee’s is slated to open its third location in Florida, which will be the largest yet.
There are Buc-ee’s stations in Daytona Beach and St. Augustine, with the latest installment going into Ocala, located in central Florida’s Marion County. Back in April, Gov. Ron DeSantis alloted the Florida Department of Transportation $4 million via the state’s Job Growth Grant Fund to add a new interchange at I-75 and Northwest 49th Street in the area to pave the way for the new gas station.

Ocala’s location will stand at 80,000 square feet, beating the plans for the newest station in Luling, Texas, which is expected to be 75,000 square feet. The previously largest location was in Sevierville, Tennessee, the state’s third location, at 74,000 square feet. Ocala will boast 120 fueling stations and 750 parking spots.
This announcement comes after Buc-ee’s announced its first location in Virginia, which is expected to tie for the second largest location. It will also feature 120 fueling stations.
Buc-ee’s opened its first location in Tennessee last year.

The gas station, referred to as a travel center, is renowned for its compensation package to employees, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k match of up to 6%, and paid time off.
More Buc-ee’s travel centers are slated for Florida, Missouri, Alabama, Tennessee, and Colorado, along with two more in its home state of Texas. Once all the centers are up and running, it will add up to over 60 centers nationwide.
