The transcript of former President Donald Trump’s court appearance on June 13 has been released, a little over a week after Trump was arrested on charges he willfully withheld classified documents from the Department of Justice.
The release of this transcript comes after the media was not allowed to record or film Trump’s court appearance. The former president appeared in court following his 37 charges for keeping classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago residence after he left the White House in January 2021.

Trump has pleaded not guilty to the charges brought by federal prosecutors for his alleged retention of the classified documents.
The indictment is Trump’s second time appearing in court in 2023, as he previously appeared in court in April in New York. The former president faces 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in connection to an alleged hush payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election.
