Hunter Biden investigation: Read DOJ announcement president’s son to plead guilty to felony charges

The Department of Justice said in a court filing that Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, intends to plead guilty to two charges related to failure to pay federal income tax.

The letter was filed by U.S. Attorney David Weiss in the U.S District Court for the District of Delaware on Tuesday and also said he would be charged with a gun possession charge.

The pretrial diversion agreement for the one count of possession of a firearm by an unlawful user of an addicted or controlled substance will likely allow him to avoid prosecution.

The son of the president has been under investigation by the Department of Justice for several years.
