Kaylee McGhee White explained in a television segment Friday what has led to a growing unreadiness in the U.S. military.

Space Force Lt. Gen. Deanna Burt admitted to discriminating against Floridians needing promotions based on “personal circumstances” after DeSantis banned trans surgeries for minors earlier this month. White shared her take on the comments during a segment on Fox News’s Outnumbered.

“You talk to men within the ranks, and they all agree it is a common problem with every single one of the branches, which is the prioritization of social justice policies over the very straightforward mission of the military, which is to deter wars and fight and win wars that the former is impossible,” White said.

The deputy editor, who also has a brother serving in the Navy, teased a Restoring America series “on the problem of military unreadiness” and “whether our troops will actually be prepared to confront threats that face the nation as a result of woke initiatives being pushed by our generals.” This series will be published next week.
