Biden ‘abortion for any reason’ stance bashed by anti-abortion group

Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, an anti-abortion group, bashed President Joe Biden’s stance on abortion, saying that he doesn’t support any limits on the practice.

In a Twitter thread, the organization pointed to legislation supported by the president that would allow completely unrestricted abortion for any reason. The group contrasted the treatment of Biden’s position on abortion to the grilling of Republicans, saying that media organizations should be more vigilant in confronting the president over his exact position on abortion.

LIV GOLF MERGER: SEVEN QUESTIONS EVERYONE IS ASKING AFTER BLOCKBUSTER DEAL

“The American people deserve to know: Is there a SINGLE limit on abortion @JoeBiden supports?” the organization asked.

“So far, the answer is no,” SBA Pro-Life America continued. “@POTUS Biden promised to sign the so-called Women’s Health Protection Act, which would codify abortion for any reason — even sex-selective abortions — and allow abortionists to *set their own limits*.”

“Biden also supports the long-expired ERA which would codify a so-called “right” to no-limits abortion into law,” it added. “The majority of Americans oppose these extremist policies.”

The organization went on to post examples of CNN grilling former Vice President Mike Pence and former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley on their stances on abortion. It argued that the way questions were phrased to the candidates, saying that Biden supported restrictions on abortion at “the point of viability” was untrue, as “viability” is a muddy term and Biden doesn’t appear to have expressed support for any abortion restrictions.

“Democrats have refused again and again to name *even ONE limit* on abortion they’d support,” SBA Pro-Life America said. “Voters deserve an answer.”

Other anti-abortion activists also questioned the treatment of Biden’s stance on abortion, with Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins suggesting that CNN was working with the Biden administration to cover for its stance on abortion.

“Is @CNN working with the Biden Admin to confuse voters and make it seem like Joe’s abortion positions are moderate, when in reality they are extreme and allow for abortions in all 9 months,” Hawkins tweeted, along with a statement from the White House supporting the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would remove all restrictions on abortion.
