President Donald Trump will speak at a rally in Alabama on Friday at 7 p.m. as part of his tour boosting Republican candidates ahead of the midterm elections.
Alongside the president will be Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), who is running for governor, and GOP state Rep. Rhett Marques, who is looking to turn Alabama’s newly redrawn 2nd Congressional District red. Several other candidates will also be in attendance.
TRUMP BETS BIG ON ‘TRANSACTIONAL POLITICS’ IN LAST MONTH OF MIDTERM SPRINT
Alabama is Trump’s third stop of his midterm rally blitz this week, as the president traveled to Texas on Thursday afternoon and was in neighboring Oklahoma that evening.
Trump’s return to the Yellowhammer state is somewhat nostalgic. More than 10 years ago, Trump held his first mega-rally in Mobile, Alabama, which drew 30,000 people to a college football stadium and solidified his place in the 2016 presidential election.
