House Democrats’ super PAC raises $230 million in third quarter

.

A super PAC affiliated with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries announced a $230 million fundraising haul for the third quarter of 2026, the final period before the midterm elections.

House Majority PAC and its sister issue-advocacy group, House Majority Forward, announced their best quarter in history on Thursday, a sign of strength for Democrats as the party tries to flip the House during next month’s midterms.

Earlier this year, the super PAC announced $272 million in ad reservations, a sum that drew criticism from top Republicans, who chided Democrats for trailing Republicans in the money race.

“Vulnerable House Dems have been nattering away in group chats since this morning… angry at the fake spending announcement from ‘leadership’ this morning,” Trump political advisor James Blair wrote on X. “The frontliners have no commitments to their own districts and don’t believe the claimed numbers either.”

Republicans have maintained a consistent fundraising edge over the Democratic Party throughout the election cycle. The House and Senate Republican campaign arms have outraised their Democratic counterparts, while the Republican National Committee holds a massive money advantage over the Democratic National Committee, which has produced paltry fundraising under Chair Ken Martin.

Moreover, Democrats have had to contend with President Donald Trump’s super PAC, MAGA Inc., which has a war chest of more than $400 million, according to an end-of-August Federal Election Committee report, as well as the unlimited pockets of Elon Musk and his America PAC. Both groups started spending millions of dollars in competitive races in September.

House Majority PAC has since increased its ad reservations to $291 million, making it the largest spender in House races with just over a month until Election Day. Congressional Leadership Fund, the PAC associated with Speaker Mike Johnson, announced $153 million in reservations earlier this year and has since increased to $183 million.

“With 33 days until Election Day, HMP could not be more proud to announce our Q3 fundraising numbers, raising a combined $230 million and marking our best quarter ever,” HMP President Mike Smith told the Washington Examiner. “Facing an unprecedented amount of Republican spending, Democrats are on offense deep into GOP territory because of our stellar candidates and our laser-focused message on costs, corruption, and care. We look forward to taking back the House in November and electing Hakeem Jeffries as the next Speaker of the House.”

With the Q3 announcement, HMP and HMF have now raised a combined $514 million this election cycle.
