President Donald Trump will host law enforcement and first responders from the New York City Fire Department at the White House on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. for a “Steel Across America” event.

The event will feature a steel beam recovered from the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City and will honor first responders on the anniversary of the attack. Friday marks 25 years since al Qaeda carried out the 9/11 attacks, targeting the twin towers, the Pentagon, and one other U.S. target suspected to have been in Washington, D.C.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is bringing the beam, which stands at about 12 feet, across the United States as part of a tour commemorating the anniversary of the attacks.
