President Donald Trump will be in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on Friday to rally with Sen. Darline Graham Nordone (R-SC), who is seeking the full term for the seat left open after her brother’s sudden death.
The rally is set to begin at 7 p.m., when Trump will deliver remarks at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Trump backed Graham Nordone’s appointment to serve the remainder of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham’s term after his unexpected death in July.

The president then supported Graham Nordone in the special primary election for a full six-year term, but she did not secure a majority of the vote and is headed to a runoff on Tuesday against Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC).
Graham Nordone has faced significant backlash in the days leading up to the rally after a debate performance in which she claimed not to be informed on national security, something her brother was known for.
