Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) said she sees “a theme” with recent firings in President Donald Trump’s administration.
Trump fired Pam Bondi from her position as attorney general on Thursday, a month after he announced Kristi Noem would be replaced as Homeland Security secretary. Crockett cited the two ousters and said, “It would be too much like right that Pete be next,” referring to War Secretary Pete Hegseth.
“I see a theme,” Crockett said on X. “He will throw the incompetent women under the bus a lot faster than the incompetent men.”
Crockett also said the United States needs “a ‘do over,’” and said Trump nominated “these awful people” for their positions.
“WE NEED A DO OVER… but only if America would do better,” Crockett wrote on X.
She added that “too many people” wanted to give power to the president, describing him as “the p***y grabbing, 6x bankruptcy filing, 34 count convicted felon bestie of [Jeffrey] Epstein.”
HOUSE REPUBLICANS HOPE BONDI’S SUCCESSOR BRINGS JUSTICE TO EPSTEIN VICTIMS
Multiple other Democratic lawmakers have made posts celebrating Bondi’s firing, with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer saying, “good riddance.”
The Democratic Party’s X account and Gov. JB Pritzker (D-IL) both posted edited photos of Bondi’s LinkedIn page with the banner “#OpenToWork.” Pritzker’s post included blacked-out text in an apparent mockery of the Epstein files released by Bondi’s DOJ, of which many documents included heavily redacted information.
Trump said Bondi did “a tremendous job” as attorney general, and said she would transition to an “important new job in the private sector” on Truth Social.

Trump also took a shot at Crockett in a separate post, sarcastically saying that former lawmaker and frontiersman Davy Crockett, “obviously a distant relative of Jasmine Crockett,” would be proud of her “great success as a politician.”
The Washington Examiner contacted Crockett’s office for comment.
