President Donald Trump is visiting Memphis on Monday to participate in the Memphis Safe Task Force roundtable and is expected to deliver remarks at 1 p.m.

Since Trump deployed the National Guard to Memphis in September 2025 as part of the Memphis Safe Task Force initiative, the crime rate has dropped 34% in a city that had the highest rate of violent crime per capita in the country.
The president is expected to discuss the drop in crime and immigration policy to highlight his agenda ahead of the November midterm elections.
