Democrats are holding a press conference in support of Federal Reserve governor Lisa Cook ahead of Supreme Court arguments around her firing.
The press conference is slated to begin at 9 a.m.
Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell is expected to be in attendance. Powell has been more open to criticism of President Donald Trump after he was put under investigation by the Department of Justice.
Democrats have rallied behind Cook, whose case is a major test of Trump’s firing authority.
