Gov.-elect Abigail Spanberger is set to be inaugurated as Virginia’s next governor around noon Saturday.

Spanberger beat Virginia Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears decisively in last year’s election to become the state’s first female governor.
“Good morning, Virginia! Today at noon, the work begins,” Spanberger wrote on X Saturday.
