Kai Trump wants Republicans and Democrats to meet ‘in the middle’

President Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, predicted that everyone would be “happier” if the Republican and Democratic parties “met in the middle.”

She shared her analysis on the Impaulsive podcast on Tuesday night. Impaulsive, hosted by YouTubers Logan Paul and Mike Majlak, is the same podcast that hosted the president during his 2024 presidential campaign. However, Trump, Donald Trump Jr.’s eldest daughter, admitted she steers clear of politics.

Majlak asked Trump if she saw former Vice President Kamala Harris as an opponent, because Harris ran against her grandfather. Trump avoided making a political statement.

“To be honest with you, I stay out of politics. Completely,” she said. “I would never run. Like, I don’t want anything to do with politics because I feel like politics is such a dangerous thing. I think if both sides met in the middle, everyone would be so much more happier.”

“It goes for politics — anything in life, friendships — like if you get in a fight with someone and try [to] see their side and meet in the middle, it’s all the same thing at the end of the day. People don’t realize that,” she added.

Trump gave a speech at the Republican National Convention in 2024. She was clear then, and during the podcast on Tuesday, that she supports her grandfather.

Meanwhile, her father has teased a presidential bid of his own. Trump acknowledged that she is more like her mother, Vanessa Trump, who she described as “very calm, very chill.”

“Obviously my dad — I love him — he just goes to war online,” she said.

In addition to a golf career, Trump launched a clothing line since her grandfather took office. Her sweatshirts retail around $130 each and have already sold out. According to her website, she plans to launch another collection.
